TAPAS ACCUPRESSURE TECHNIQUE (TAT) 

To treat a problem using TAT, follow these instructions:
1.) Rate the strength of your feeling you are experiencing right now, on a scale of 1-10, when you think of the problem.
That number is the SUD (Subjective Units of Discomfort.)
2.) Put your thumb against the inside corner of one eye. Place the ring finger against the inside corner of the other eye.
3.) Place the middle two fingers against your forehead, about a quarter inch above a line between the eyebrows so the
two fingers are lined up with the upper part of the eyebrow.
4.) Cup the other hand, and place it behind your head, with the thumb against your neck, right where it meets the base of the skull.
The little finger will be pressed against your head where it rests. Don't lay your hand flat against your head.
5.) Close your eyes and think of the feeling or event or person that bothers you. Continue for one minute, or until you feel a "shift"
in your body before that. This may be a reflexive sigh.
6.) Keep your pose, and repeat a statement reminding you of the problem in your mind. It may be a person's name,
a phrase about what happened, or the name of the feeling. Continue repeating for one minute, or until you feel a shift.
7.) Keep the pose, and repeat in your mind a statement which is opposite of the problem -- even if you don't believe it.
This might be "I will feel comfortable when I do that," or "I will feel calm and relaxed," whatever is opposite to what has been the case.
Continue repeating for one minute, or until a shift occurs.
8.) Keep the pose, and concentrate your attention on the part of your body where you feel your feelings. That will be different for different people.
Continue for one minute, or until a shift occurs.
9.) Rate your SUD again.

You have said... you want to smoke... less... pot.  Or weed, or marijuana, whatever... you want to call it. However, you may have felt conflicted, as to whether... to give up the pleasure.  You have weighed the consequences... the risk... of emphesema, the money it costs, the risk... of arrest, the reduction ...of employability, maybe... lost friends, and maybe even... having to contact... the type of people... who sell it.

You may have concluded... it just... is not... worth it.  Or perhaps... you are planning being hypnotized... regarding tobacco, and fear... that would interfere... with smoking pot, too.

However, there is... an answer.

From now on, you can do this--  Just touch your index finger... to your thumb, and make a tiny hole... between your lips.  Then... touch your thumb and finger ...to your lips, and suck... a lung full of air... through... that tiny hole.  Hold the air in... for a few seconds, and then... slowly... let it out.

When you do this, you will get the effect... of the best pot... you have ever had.  As you repeat this, you will get... as much of the effect... as you want.

In several ways, this is far superior... to the pot... you have had before.  For one thing, it is free of charge.  For another, it is just... fresh air, and does not... harm your health.  And... it is perfectly... legal.  Nobody... will ever arrest you... for breathing... fresh air.  You will always... pass... a drug test.  Nobody... will ever shun you... for breathing... air.  

If... you are about to be embarrassed, this effect... will disappear.  I wonder what could embarrass you.  Might it be... being seen by your spouse, or your parent, or maybe...your parent-in-law, who thinks... you are high?  Might it be... being observed by your employer, or a policeman, who could get the impression... you are are high?  Whatever it is, that will make the effect... disappear.   

Also, if you are about to do anything that could endanger your safety... the effect will disappear.  I wonder... what events... could be dangerous.  If... you start to go up... or down a stairway, or if...you start... to drive a car... or... to use fire...or use a knife... or any tool... that could hurt you... the effect... will immediately... disappear.  Because of this... you will never...endanger yourself, or anyone else, due to getting high. Not.. by the hypnotic kind, nor...  the physical stuff, which you no... longer need... at all.

And... you will never... cause trouble... from a policeman... or your family... your employer... your friends... or co-workers... as a result... of getting high.

You will never ...have your physical safety... endangered... as a result ...of getting high.  Your life... will be happier, because... you get all the benefits... of pot, but none... of the drawbacks.

However, once...the threat.. has passed...the threat of embarrassment, or ... a threat... to your safety, or the safety...of anybody else... once it has passed...then, the effect will immediately... return.

And you will have this ability... for a full year.  If the effect disappears at the end of a year, or anytime, all you need to do is sit or lie down, make yourself very comfortable, close your eyes, and then say or think to yourself, "Relax.  Three.  Two.  One.  Pot."  And the effect will immediately return for another year.
